The attorney will defend workers' compensation claims and manage a dedicated caseload, involving litigation strategy, depositions, hearings, and extensive client communication.

Responsibilities

Defend workers' compensation claims for employers and carriers across a wide range of industries

Conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, medical providers, and experts

Represent clients in mediations and hearings before the administrative commission

Draft motions, briefs, discovery responses, and case assessments

Perform legal and medical analysis to develop case strategy

Attend hearings and negotiate settlements

Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, adjusters, risk managers, and internal team members

Provide ongoing reports, updates, and clear communication to clients
