Responsibilities

Safety is essential at Servtech and all safety training classes must be completed with a 100% pass rate

Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, clients, vendors, and other business contacts
Must meet deadlines while working safely to ensure a quality product
Under direct supervision, must have the ability to learn to tear down and repair failed electrical equipment including valve actuators, Variable Frequency Drives, circuit breaker replacement, MCC bucket replacement, PLC and HMI repair/replacement, and fuse replacement
Assist in the operational testing of PLC, HMI, VFD, actuators, solenoids, and other electrical instruments
Identify and adjust motors for correct rotation
Must examine flanged connections for correct torque
Troubleshoot, identify and change out pumps, motors, and valves as needed
Ability to learn to read mechanical and electrical drawings
Capable of performing work with a truck-mounted crane
Must be able to perform preventative maintenance on air compressor stations which includes changing filters, changing oil, and replacing motors, bearings, belts, and fans
Safely drive to customer's sites and perform the required work with accuracy and timeliness
Service tickets must be reviewed for accuracy and submitted in a timely manner
All employees who support partner companies must follow their safety and conduct policies, including on-call obligations
This position is an on-call position
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record and 21 years of age to drive a Company Truck
Ability to use Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel
Experience with hand-held tools and assembling parts
Experience with multimeters
Must possess the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, both hourly and management, in a team environment

Preferred

A high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred but not required
1-2 years of electrical experience is preferred
Mechanical experience is preferred but not required
