Gauge Technician

Responsibilities

Inspect, test, calibrate, and adjust mechanical, electrical, and electronic gauges and measurement instruments
Perform routine and scheduled calibration of gauges, meters, pressure instruments, torque tools, and related equipment
Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs or replacements as needed
Maintain calibration records, certificates, and documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standards
Ensure compliance with ISO, ANSI, NIST, and other applicable quality standards
Tag, label, and track equipment calibration status and expiration dates
Collaborate with quality, engineering, and production teams to resolve measurement issues
Recommend improvements to calibration processes and equipment reliability
Assist with internal and external audits related to calibration and quality systems
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
