Recovery Support Technician
Volunteers of America Mid-States (VOA) is a non-profit organization that provides essential services to communities, including housing and support for various populations. The Recovery Support Technician is responsible for transporting program participants to various locations and ensuring their safety during transit, while also assisting with duties within the Recovery Community Center as needed.

Responsibilities
Drive participants to and from meetings, groups, and appointments as needed
Maintain operational control of the facility in the absence of senior staff
Ensure client’s compliance with Volunteers of America policies and rules
Maintain van sign-in/sign-out log
Monitor clients in van and facility and their behavior
Complete required documentation
Attend training and supervision
Observe and report maintenance needs and safety hazards
Provide transportation for clients
Provide childcare
Observe and report maintenance needs and safety hazards
Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) duties as assigned by supervision & PQI Committee
Qualification
Required
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
Valid driver's license and good driving record required
Must pass background check and driver record check
Minimum of 1 year of sobriety
