Responsibilities
Work cohesively with the other members of the Beef Purchasing department
Negotiate quantities and pricing of incoming respective proteins
Data entry – processing purchase orders accurately in inventory management system
Answer salesperson/customer questions regarding product specifications (dates, pricing, availability)
Provide new & existing sales staff with updated price sheet(s) weekly, or as frequently as needed
Maintain and process booking sheets for chain accounts
Communicate with Inventory department and fill out correct paperwork regarding special orders
Attend customer meetings & visits to improve service, grow business, and strengthen customer relationships
Facilitate brand-specific trainings (Certified Angus Beef)
Attend and participate in weekly sales and purchasing meetings
Qualification
Required
Minimum of six years' experience in Customer Service required (food service industry required)
Minimum of four years' experience in Purchasing required (food service industry required)

Competency in Microsoft Applications Including Word, Excel, and Outlook
