Data Analyst/Report Writer
Lumen Solutions Group Inc. is seeking a Data Analyst to provide senior-level consultative services and technical assistance in data analysis for program-related activities. The role involves analyzing priority initiatives, developing data analysis tools, and providing recommendations to project leadership while ensuring data best practices are followed.

Working with staff to initiate, facilitate, or participate in projects to maximize the success of multiple and diverse projects
Qualification
Required
8 years of experience in researching, gathering, assembling, correlating and analyzing facts; devising solutions to problems; and preparing concise reports and/or analyzing and solving complex and difficult problems and prioritizing information and issues
8 years of experience in transforming data into information that can be utilized to make business decisions and developing and presenting reports identifying gaps in technology and operational effectiveness to executive stakeholders
8 years of experience in developing or contributing to the development of as-is / to-be data models to identify opportunities for greater operational efficiencies
8 years of experience in effectively mapping data and identifying improvements, establishing benchmarks and developing a framework for operational trend analysis and performance measurement
8 years of experience in analyzing data policies and procedures to determine their effect on automated systems and system functional areas
8 years of experience in acquiring data from various sources, creating reports on a regular basis, and performing deep analysis of underlying trends and correlations, developing metadata, tables and user interfaces to define clear reports for business users
8 years of experience in using creativity and specialty reporting tools to define and develop data reports, dashboards, and data visualizations
Preferred
5 years of experience in using creativity and specialty reporting tools to define and develop data reports, dashboards, and data visualizations
5 years of experience in developing strategic and project SDLC materials, including gap analysis, recommendations, roadmaps, requirements, design documents, system and data flow diagrams, test cases, and use cases
1 year of State or Federal Public Sector experience
