Tooling Technician
Oldcastle Infrastructure is one of North America's largest PVC pipe producers, seeking a Tool and Dye Extrusion Technician. The role involves performing maintenance duties in an industrial manufacturing environment, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently through preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities
Assist in installation, set up, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment
Operate a variety of hand and power tools to repair, grease, change parts and complete tasks
Maintain the cleanliness, functionality, and safety of equipment and work areas by complying with company procedures, rules, and regulations
Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
Qualification
Required
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
Strong mechanical aptitude
Proven work experience with electrical and mechanical components
Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members
Knowledge of mechanical systems and ability to diagnose and fix problems
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. periodically throughout the day
MUST have prior tooling and die experience
Preferred
At least one year of industrial maintenance experience preferred
Knowledge of plastics extrusion processing is a plus
