Program Coordinator II

Responsibilities
Creates, promotes, and delivers student success programs. Coordinates the planning, development, and implementation of programs, resources, and workshops for students and other stakeholders
Coordinates institution-wide student tracking efforts and collaborates with colleges/schools and departments to identify ways to make programs and services accessible to undergraduate students
Utilizes various reports, instructor outreach, and other campus relationships to help identify students that need to reconnect
Collaborates with colleges/schools and departments on student high-impact practices
Creates a communication plan and timeline for students
Assesses and reports student data and findings to respective University and college/school leaders
Provides student support services to current undergraduate students, their families, university faculty, staff, administrators, and resource providers
Monitors student progress and fosters retention of students through monitoring of student grades, mentoring, and other support programs
Maintains notes on interaction with students in EAB Navigate Campus. Utilizes COMPASS and HOWDY (Banner Systems) to support student success
Serves as a resource to colleges, schools, and student success teams. Utilizes EAB Navigate to identify students who may need additional support and then works with the colleges, schools, and success teams
Projects and monitors student data. Prepares and completes reports related to student persistence and success
Creates and distributes communication to colleges, schools, and success teams
Provide support to other units within the Office of Student Success
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or any equivalent combination of education and experience
Four years of experience in student success, student development, or related work in higher education
Preferred
Master's degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education, Counseling, Educational Technology, Adult Education, or related field
Experience in developing or coordinating student retention programs
Intermediate experience with data analysis in a higher education capacity
Demonstrated experience with EAB Navigate or related student predictive analytics system
Ability to understand and speak Spanish
Strong problem-solving skills
High degree of self-initiative and ability to think and work independently
Ability to analyze data for retention and graduation success programming
Knowledge of degree plans, programs, and/or evaluations
Experience with educational technology platforms and tools such as Articulate 360/Rise, Adobe, Canva, and Google Suite
