Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and execute test cases against changes, or new features, affecting our back-end (integration, database, ETL) systems
Collect, document, and report test results to greater team as part of the release approval process
Review proposed changes from developers and provide feedback on test plans, dependencies, and release methodology
Collaborate with QA SDET (Software Development in Test) engineers to develop and expand our test automation framework to cover back-end testing

Required

3+ years of database development experience supporting application development teams/projects
Strong SQL and database skills
Practical experience writing scripts in Python (or other object-oriented programming languages)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
Self-motivated, self-pacing, proactive attitude essential to prevent foreseeable issues/problems

Preferred

Related experience in the financial or investment sector is a big plus
Familiarity with ETL processes/tools, such as Informatica, Clover
