The Vice President of Taxation and Compliance will oversee the company's tax compliance and reporting functions, driving tax planning initiatives and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements while optimizing financial outcomes.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize the company's tax liabilities while maximizing its financial performance

Oversee the preparation and filing of all tax returns, including federal, state, and local taxes

Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to accurately reflect tax implications in financial statements and disclosures

Serve as the primary point of contact for tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities

Identify and assess tax risks associated with business operations and transactions

Lead and develop a high-performing tax team, providing guidance, mentorship, and training as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field

Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in tax compliance and planning, preferably in a corporate tax environment

In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and international tax laws and regulations

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization

Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve results

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively

Preferred

Master's degree or CPA preferred
