Senior Safety Engineer

Responsibilities
Implement and manage safety compliance programs in adherence to federal, state and local regulations
Manage electrical safety and hazardous energy programs
Ability to anticipate, identify, and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices during task performance at a semiconductor facility
Develop hazard control designs, methods, procedures, and programs; and advise and educate others
Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of hazard control elements
Evaluation of task performance to ensure compliance with site and regulatory requirements
Document and track results to support safety program elements
Conduct incident investigations, site inspections, identify root cause, determine corrective actions, and support implementation as related to safety compliance programs
Conduct employee training for education on site safety requirements
Review and audit pre-task plans, site risk analyses and standard operating procedures
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science or Studies, Engineering or Risk Management, with 8-10 years' experience required
Implement and manage safety compliance programs in adherence to federal, state and local regulations
Manage electrical safety and hazardous energy programs
Ability to anticipate, identify, and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices during task performance at a semiconductor facility
Develop hazard control designs, methods, procedures, and programs; and advise and educate others

Evaluation of task performance to ensure compliance with site and regulatory requirements

This role requires access to information subject to U.S. export control laws. Applicants must be authorized to access such information or eligible for government authorization
Preferred
Master's degree, professional EHS certification such as CSP preferred
