Responsibilities

Lead conversations and drive projects forward, ensuring alignment and successful delivery of initiatives
Partner with clinical and business teams to gather and analyze requirements for new and existing systems
Translate ideas into actionable plans—design functional requirements, workflows, and documentation that drive successful implementations
Take ownership of projects, from process redesign to system configuration, ensuring solutions meet business needs and deliver measurable results
Use your analytical skills to evaluate processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement changes that optimize outcomes
Collaborate across teams to create user stories, participate in development cycles, and validate solutions through testing
Support onboarding and knowledge-sharing within the team, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement

Required

Strong analytical experience with the ability to define requirements and configure systems
Experience with healthcare applications
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver on time in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related business field (computer science, information systems, etc.) or in a health care field, or comparable degree and/or experience
3 years of experience in health insurance or clinical health care is required; those with relevant experience in other industries will be considered
Prior experience in assisting with product development, understanding product requirements documents and writing software requirements is required
Applies advanced knowledge in a primary discipline and working knowledge in multiple relevant disciplines to create solutions for business situations
Is visually and verbally articulate
Able to contribute to interactive group development sessions

Preferred

Epic experience or certification preferred
Implementation and informatics experience
Familiarity with SQL
Familiarity with Power BI for reporting and analytics
Exposure to product development processes
Experience with Azure tool
Knowledge of pharmacy and/or care management within a health plan
Understanding of enrollment processes at a payer organization
Experience and familiarity with health industry coding systems is preferred
