Relationship Specialist (Onboarding Team)

Responsibilities
Partner closely with Client Managers and business development officers to support the onboarding and ongoing management of new Deals and client relationships
Execute Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements
Coordinate Deal setup and establish account structures
Support Deal closing activities and initiate billing setup
Perform thorough document reviews
Ensure all new client relationships align with established business line acceptance policies and procedures
Deliver high-quality service by anticipating and responding to client needs, resolving issues efficiently, and maintaining strong, consultative partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders
Collaborate closely with new business development teams, contributing as a strategic partner during discussions with prospective or existing clients
Proactively identify business risks and operational gaps, recommending and implementing enhancements to improve processes, mitigate risk, and strengthen operational effectiveness
Lead and coordinate operational changes within the unit, ensuring smooth implementation and alignment across impacted teams
Depending on business needs, be accountable for revenue, new business, or expense targets
In some cases, manage staff, hiring, and developing team members to support organizational goals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Typically three or more years of relevant experience
Preferred
Basic knowledge of corporate trust and investment instruments
Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance
Ability to communicate quickly with clients to resolve client issues and disputes
Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
