Responsibilities
Oversee and manage front line manufacturing production associates for respective business
Perform employee performance evaluations
Conduct and execute on manpower planning and training to develop adequate skills within the team to meet customer requirements/ demand
Mentor team leaders in the ability to problem solve and coach peers
Resolve problems through the application of acquired expertise guided by precedent
Work together with colleagues across site specific business unit
Be responsible for Safety, Quality, Delivery and cost metrics for the assigned team
Coach, counsel, recognize and discipline as necessary
Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization and functions of the Asheville facility, including direct reports, peers, Senior leadership as well as maintenance, Quality, EHS and finance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing & Production Process and Equipment) PLUS a minimum of 3 years of experience in Manufacturing & Production Process and Equipment
Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization and functions of the Asheville facility, including direct reports, peers, Senior leadership as well as maintenance, Quality, EHS and finance
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3))
