Financial Consultant

Scalence L.L.C. is seeking a Financial Consultant to drive growth and support the Cardiac Rhythm Management US Sales leadership team in achieving financial objectives. The role involves financial management, reporting, and collaboration with various teams to optimize results and manage risks.

Responsibilities

Drive growth
Be the trusted advisor for the Cardiac Rhythm Management US Sales leadership team to grow Market Share and achieve key business financial objectives (Targeted Revenue, Expense management, KPIs) while effectively managing risks and opportunities
Develop and maintain a mastery of the business, to support key operational and strategic decisions by leveraging industry insights and by generating scenario analysis
Partner with the Sales Operations and US Marketing teams to provide insight on region and district opportunity account pipelines, implant forecasts, strategy implementation (among other meaningful metrics) to drive additional opportunities to optimize results
Lead regional annual operating plan process (Rosters, Alignments, Quotas, Expense budgeting)
Collaborate with other groups and functions
With the RVP and HR on sales force alignment, performance and compensation strategies
Liaise with the Rebates, Contracting, Pricing, Sales Ops, & Total Rewards organizations
Lead and prepare monthly business reviews of P&L results with variance analysis, as well as the updated Forecast, with its risks & opportunities
Provide actionable guidance to sales management, to stay aligned with financial goals, while also maintaining the longer-term strategic goals
Partner with Sales to continually improve Revenue forecasting accuracy and what key metrics best drive and support those predictions
Prepare financial analysis to support critical special investment initiatives and other Ad-hoc as assigned
Partner with field leaders on account alignments, which may include partnership with Total Rewards for scenario planning pertaining to compensation
Weekly KPI/Metrics analysis, highlighting key variances and providing recommendations for further review to address opportunities
Review of RADARs (pricing adjustments, swap requests, credit requests, etc) and approval authority up to $50K
Weekly forecasting (Weeks 5, 9, 11, 12, 13) – ownership of forecast template and management of process to gather input from field leaders (DMs, RDs, RVPs) including run rate assumptions and quarter end deal projections
Partnership as needed with field leaders on creation of MBO criteria, ensuring metrics align to strategic priorities and drive incremental revenue or implant growth
Quarter end deliverables: SPIF validation, revenue adjustment validation for comp calculation, Expense adjustments, submission of manual credits to SCA
Ownership of FTE planning for all field roles, Sales & Service. Partnership with RVPs and RSMs to ensure FTE are planned appropriately, to drive business execution and maximize productivity
Ownership of field AOP model, requiring detailed partnership with District Managers to set Revenue & Implant AOP across 3 iOUs, 9 therapy categories, for all District and Territories within the Region
Various ad-hoc support: Decliners analysis, PFA opportunity analysis, etc

Required

Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting (Or Advanced Degree with 8+ years)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, in a high-paced environment
MBA
Client business unit finance experience/business acumen
Prior Medical Sales support experience
Excellent written/oral communication, presentation and influencing skills
Experience with MDT financial/reporting systems (SAP, Hyperion, CMR, SPEND, BOXI) and proficient in Client Office applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
