Compensation Specialist
Dynamics Executive Search is focused on providing expert recruitment services, and they are seeking a Compensation Specialist to handle financial analysis and compliance in compensation programs. The role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure accurate reporting and data integrity in HR systems while managing compensation models and vendor relationships.
Responsibilities
Participate in the design and maintain compensation models for base, bonus, equity, deferred compensation, and carry programs
Perform scenario modeling for bonus pools, equity grants, and deferred comp elections; assess financial impact on budgets and forecasts
Prepare executive-ready analytics for compensation committee reviews, Board reporting, and SEC-related disclosures
Manage communications in support of the various programs to include management of the annual performance and compensation planning cycles
Serve as system owner for Compose, Newport, SAP, and ADP TotalSource data - build integrations; ensure accurate configuration and data governance
Build automated workflows and dashboards for compensation planning, headcount, and cost reporting
Manage offshore resources for payroll and employee of record input and validation.Partner with ADP as the primary liaison for payroll and benefits data feeds; validate outputs and resolve discrepancies. The role owns all the employee data integrity across multiple systems
Implement controls for sensitive compensation data and maintain audit-ready documentation
Own HR-related SOX controls and deliverables; maintain narratives, evidence, and remediation plans
Ensure compliance with SEC reporting requirements for executive compensation and equity programs
Collaborate with Finance on budgeting, accruals, and reconciliations for compensation and benefits costs
Act as the single point of contact for general HR inquiries to include to compensation, benefits, and systems
Manage vendor relationships (ADP, benefits carriers, equity administrators) and enforce SLAs
Qualification
Required
Experience in financial analysis and modeling
Knowledge of compliance across base pay, bonus, equity, deferred compensation, and carry programs
Proficiency in HR systems such as ADP TotalSource, SAP, and Compose
Ability to prepare executive-ready analytics for compensation committee reviews and SEC-related disclosures
Experience in managing communications for performance and compensation planning cycles
Skills in building integrations and ensuring data governance in HR systems
Experience in building automated workflows and dashboards for compensation planning
Ability to manage offshore resources for payroll and employee data validation
Experience in implementing controls for sensitive compensation data
Knowledge of HR-related SOX controls and deliverables
Understanding of SEC reporting requirements for executive compensation
Collaboration skills with Finance on budgeting and reconciliations for compensation costs
Ability to manage vendor relationships and enforce SLAs
