Responsibilities
Be adept in Swiss machine CNC
Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner
Reads and interprets blueprints and solid models
Properly and safely loads and unloads raw materials in CNC machinery
Uses gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
Ability to set up, operate and troubleshoot multi-axes machines including CNC lathes, mills, millturn and swiss machines, without assistance. Must be self sufficient
Ability to reduce setup time and machining through process improvements
Must be proficient with Haas controls
Understands, interprets and edits G-code programming
Recognizes, deploys and properly uses inserts, fixtures and tooling
Understands and has the ability to perform tool wear offsets
Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery
Qualification
Required
Under minimal supervision, sets up and operates CNC (computer numerical controlled) machinery to fabricate metallic and non-metallic parts
Be adept in Swiss machine CNC
Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner
Reads and interprets blueprints and solid models
Properly and safely loads and unloads raw materials in CNC machinery
Uses gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
Ability to set up, operate and troubleshoot multi-axes machines including CNC lathes, mills, millturn and swiss machines, without assistance
Ability to reduce setup time and machining through process improvements
Must be proficient with Haas controls
Understands, interprets and edits G-code programming

Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
Must own tools to perform basic measuring tasks i.e. micrometers, dial indicator, height gage, and misc. hand tools
High School education or Equivalent
Minimum of 2 years' experience in mechanical or electrical assembly processes
Comprehension of the English language necessary
Must have ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, blueprints, ISO 9001 Assembly Procedures, and any other documents related to product assembly or sub-assembly
Ability to effectively communicate with superiors and other employees one-on-one, or in small group situations
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written and oral instructions
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
Position requires close vision, coordination to perform close work with hands, and the ability to work under pressure of a scheduled deadline
