Responsibilities
Develop and write electrical switching procedures for distribution operations activities
Coordinate switching plans with control center personnel and internal stakeholders
Review and assess upcoming switching requirements ranging from half-day to multi-day timeframes
Distribute draft switching plans for internal review and incorporate feedback to obtain necessary approvals
Schedule approved switching procedures for execution
Communicate finalized plans to the control center and ensure smooth handoff
Provide follow-up support and respond to questions during plan execution
Collaborate with team members and internal partners to ensure coordination across operations
Assist with coverage responsibilities during team member absences as needed
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Comprehensive knowledge of distribution electrical systems and their operation
Strong coordination and scheduling abilities across multiple teams and stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Superior organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment
Capability to manage multiple switching plans simultaneously
Problem-solving skills to address questions and issues during plan execution
Preferred
Previous experience as a Trouble Man or Lineman is required, with five or more years in these roles strongly preferred
Experience with Oracle NMS is beneficial but not required
