Responsibilities

You will be responsible for post-award accounting of grants and contracts
You will provide procedure interpretation to university departments
You will prepare complex reports and/or reconcile multiple letters of credit to federal and sponsoring agencies and approve financial status report(s) to ensure compliance with university and sponsor requirements and regulations
You will participate in business process review and changes, provide guidance to internal and external customers, and embrace the Senior Level Competencies found in the Research Administration Series Competency Matrix

Qualification

Accounting degreeResearch administration experienceMicrosoft Office proficiencyGoogle Suite proficiencyCommunication applicationsSponsored Programs experience

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field with 8 accounting courses
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products, Google suites, and communication applications such as Zoom
5 years of research administration experience

Preferred

Prior Sponsored Programs experience
