Director, Corporate Real Estate
Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is a leader in mobile technologies and consumer electronics, seeking a Director of Corporate Real Estate to manage their national real estate portfolio. This role involves overseeing site selection, project management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and support growth strategies.

Responsibilities
National Real Estate Portfolio Management – Oversee 1,000,000+ SF across 60+ corporate, manufacturing, warehouse, and retail locations to optimize performance, operational efficiency, and long-term value
Site Selection & Expansion Strategy – Lead market assessments, site selection, due diligence, and permitting; develop strategies to accelerate growth and optimize location strategy
Lead Negotiation & Approval Governance – Negotiate lease terms and conditions for new sites and renewals; oversee financial analysis, deal review processes, and executive-level approvals
Cross-Functional Leadership & External Partnerships – Collaborate with internal teams and manage relationships with brokers, consultants, and analytics partners to support portfolio growth and operational objectives
Design Strategy & Project Delivery Oversight – Direct design standards, manage construction and renovation projects, and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in alignment with brand and enterprise goals
Performance Management & Team Development – Based on Post Occupancy performance reports, develop KPIs to drive continuous improvement; train and develop CRE managers to strengthen organizational capability
Qualification
Required
15+ years of experience in corporate real estate, facilities, or related advisory roles with proven team leadership
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, including quantitative and qualitative problem-solving
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and client engagement
Highly self-motivated, capable of independent work while leading coordinated teams
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; advanced project management and planning skills
Willingness to travel 25%
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction, Real Estate, Business, Finance, or a related field
Preferred
Background in Architecture, Interior Design or Construction Project Management
