Postdoctoral Associate- Bioinformatics

Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate to lead innovative research projects on the molecular mechanisms of arrhythmias. The role involves analyzing and integrating multi-omics data using bioinformatics tools and AI, and participating in the design and implementation of large-scale datasets.

Responsibilities

Plans and conducts experiments, analyzes data, and prepares publications describing results
Implements and analyzes single cell RNA-Sequencing, single cell ATAC-Seq, CITE-Seq, as well as bulk RNA-Seq, Proteomics, and Metabolomics generated from mouse and patient cohorts with rich clinical data
Advanced modeling of arrhythmias using generalized linear models and machine learning
Helps in training and mentoring of lab personnel, including graduate and undergraduate students
Maintains good communication with lab leader and members
Reads and evaluates literature Attends scientific networking workshops/conferences
Performs other job related duties as assigned
