Contracts Manager II & III | W2 Consultants Only | 2 openings
Tranzeal Incorporated is an industry leading global Business Transformation Service Provider dedicated to helping clients maximize their investments in IT. They are currently seeking Contracts Manager II and III professionals to support Development Sciences and Translational Medicine operations, focusing on enabling external collaborations and ensuring compliance with laws and internal policies.
Responsibilities
Assess, analyze, draft, review, negotiate, and execute a wide range of contractual agreements
Negotiate favorable contract terms while balancing business objectives, risk exposure, and internal guidelines
Exercise sound legal and business judgment during negotiations (Level III operates with greater autonomy and complexity)
Advise and influence stakeholders and functional leadership on contractual terms and process improvements
Partner with cross-functional teams to anticipate future needs and enhance contract processes, templates, DOA, and playbooks
Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders across functions
Serve as a subject-matter resource; Level III may mentor or guide junior contract managers
Lead or contribute to process improvements, strategic initiatives, and special projects
Prepare and deliver clear, concise presentations to leadership and stakeholder groups
Maintain accurate contract records and support audit requests
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
5–9 years of experience in contract management, negotiation, and execution
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Solid understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements
10+ years of experience in complex contract management and negotiations
Proven ability to operate independently and handle high-risk or high-value agreements
Strong stakeholder influence and leadership capabilities
Deep knowledge of industry regulations, compliance standards, and contracting best practices
Experience driving process improvements and mentoring others
BS/BA in Business, Legal Studies, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong contract drafting and negotiation expertise
Preferred
JD preferred (especially for Level III)
Professional certification in Contract Management
