Responsibilities
Own day-to-day operations for ERP and legacy systems
Reduce incidents, escalations, and delivery volatility
Ensure production stability across core platforms (ERP, supply chain, manufacturing, commercial systems)
Drive root-cause resolution instead of temporary fixes
Implement prioritization, intake, and execution tracking processes
Transition from reactive to planned delivery
Establish standard operating rhythms (weekly operations, monthly reviews)
Ensure commitments are realistic and consistently met
Serve as primary IT contact for senior business stakeholders
Translate business needs into actionable technology plans
Reset expectations transparently and rebuild credibility through consistent delivery
Manage key vendor relationships and performance
Renegotiate scope, SLAs, and accountability as needed
Reduce vendor dependency through stronger internal ownership
Optimize and manage a significant IT operating budget
Lead and develop managers and senior contributors
Address skill gaps and performance issues decisively
Clarify roles, responsibilities, and decision rights
Build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Create a pragmatic long-term roadmap focused on stability and incremental improvement
Identify technical debt and systemic risks
Partner with senior IT leadership on modernization planning
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MBA or Master's preferred)
10+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership at senior manager/director level
Proven experience stabilizing underperforming IT environments
Strong background in enterprise systems, team leadership, vendor management, and budget oversight
Industry experience in CPG, manufacturing, supply chain, or similar complex environments
Hands-on operational credibility and ability to manage large-scale delivery under pressure
Preferred
MBA or Master's degree
