Sales Team Lead

As a Sales Team Lead, you will actively engage on the sales floor, promote customer interaction, coach Sales Consultants, and collaborate with the General Sales Manager to ensure smooth operations and achieve store goals.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with the General Sales Manager to oversee and manage all areas within the Showroom, ensuring smooth operations
Assist Sales Consultants in closing sales by providing guidance, support, and strategic advice to ensure successful customer transactions
Monitor and drive sales performance, including margins, volume, quotas, and closing ratios
Develop and implement short- and long-term goals for the showroom’s success
Address and resolve customer-related issues escalated beyond the Customer Service Lead
Collaborate with the Visual Merchandiser Manager to ensure optimal product placement and presentation
Communicate changes in company policies and relevant information to the staff
Provide exceptional leadership and guidance to the sales, guest experience, and visual teams
Coach staff members to foster individual growth and team success in a professional manner
Manage administrative costs within budget, including wages and supplies
Conduct performance audits and provide additional support or training when needed
Ensure thorough documentation of completed procedures and tasks
Complete various reports accurately and in a timely manner
Recruit, train, and coach the sales team to meet and exceed performance expectations
Prepare and administer performance evaluations for assigned team members
Foster effective and timely communication across the team and with upper management
Qualification
Required
High School education level
Experience in retail sales
Ability to coach and develop team members
Strong communication skills
Ability to monitor and drive sales performance
Experience in managing administrative costs
Ability to conduct performance audits
Experience in recruiting and training sales teams
Ability to prepare and administer performance evaluations
