Responsibilities
Handling all phases of insurance coverage analysis and civil litigation in both state and federal court
Regularly interfacing with clients and other counsel
Participating in mediations
Providing strategic legal advice to insurance company clients
Attending court hearings and oral arguments both remotely and in-person
Qualification
Required
Active bar license in California
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
At least 3 years of civil litigation experience in either state or federal court
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Exceptional writing, organizational, and advocacy skills
Preferred
3-5 years of litigation experience with an interest in insurance coverage
Enjoy working collaboratively in a team setting with partners, associates, paralegals, and law clerks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Skilled in legal research and analysis
Superb administrative and organizational skills
Diligent, driven, and eager to learn
Possess the ability to work independently and take ownership of their work
