Responsibilities
Designing and building scalable automation frameworks used firm-wide
Developing Python-based tools to support functional and integration testing
Enabling developers and QA teams to write tests using lightweight scripts, mocks, and stubs
Supporting and troubleshooting Linux-based trading environments
Working closely with engineers and stakeholders across front-office systems
Owning delivery end-to-end with a strong focus on quality and reliability
Qualification
Required
7–10+ years experience in the financial services industry, specifically front-office trading systems
10+ years of Python development experience
Deep knowledge of the FIX protocol
Strong understanding of asset classes such as equities, options, and market data
Expert-level experience building automation frameworks using Pytest
Solid Linux troubleshooting skills
Strong Git version control experience
Proven problem-solver who works independently and collaborates well
Preferred
Docker experience
Java and/or Perl exposure
Back-office or clearing systems knowledge
