Responsibilities
Partner closely with Internal Audit stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven audit planning, testing, and continuous monitoring
Design, develop, and maintain analytics solutions to support audit execution and risk assessments
Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and potential control gaps
Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations to clearly communicate insights and findings to senior leadership
Automate recurring audit analytics and reporting processes to improve efficiency and consistency
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and appropriate documentation of analytics methodologies
Serve as a subject matter expert on audit-related data analytics tools, techniques, and best practices
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably supporting Internal Audit, Risk, Compliance, or Controls functions
Strong proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel
Hands-on experience using Python for data analysis and automation
Experience developing dashboards and visualizations using Tableau
Working knowledge of Alteryx or comparable analytics tools
Solid understanding of audit processes, internal controls, and risk management concepts
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical insights to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred
Experience within financial services or a highly regulated environment
Prior experience working directly with auditors or audit leadership
Demonstrated ability to operate independently in a director-level individual contributor role
