Responsibilities
Own the day-to-day management of our social channels and keep everything on-brand
Plan and maintain a content calendar with the creative marketing team around launches, promos, seasons, and evergreen content
Content creation: Create photo, video, and written content, including shooting, editing, and writing captions and scripts
Post, schedule, and optimize content across platforms to keep a steady rhythm
Manage and support other content creators and ambassadors with clear direction, deadlines, and feedback
Stay on top of trends and turn the good ones into content that fits our brand
Engage with our Meta & Reddit communities in comments and DMs, and loop in the right team when needed
Track performance, create analytics reports, and use what you learn to improve future content
Keep our content organized with a clean, easy-to-use library of photos and videos
Collaborate with the creative marketing team on campaign concepts, messaging, and creative direction
Join photoshoots and special events as needed, including occasional travel
Qualification
Required
2+ years managing social media for a brand (in-house or agency)
Strong skills in photography, video, editing, and writing for social
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for photo editing and asset prep
Proficiency in Video editing (Adobe/other) and clip prep
Comfortable on camera (yourself) and directing/coaching others on camera to get great shots
Real experience with outdoor adventuring, outdoor sports, or outdoor gear, and the ability to create content that feels genuine to that world
Solid understanding of how platforms work today (Reels, TikTok, Stories, Shorts, and more)
Organized and reliable, with experience building calendars and hitting deadlines
Able to read performance metrics and make smart improvements over time
Experience working with creators, ambassadors, or influencers, including giving guidance and feedback
Clear communicator who can juggle multiple projects without getting overwhelmed
Preferred
Experience with outdoor, apparel, or performance brands
Familiarity with paid social or digital advertising
Comfort pulling simple insights from social analytics
