Responsibilities
Establish a clear roadmap for catalog services aligned with business goals
Ensure catalog architecture supports scalability, omnichannel experiences, and personalization
Conduct market research to identify gaps and opportunities for catalog enhancements
Maintain catalog accuracy with low defect rates in production data
Oversee schema design, taxonomy, and metadata standards for product attributes
Implement validation rules and workflows to prevent duplication and inconsistencies
Collaborate with PIM (Product Information Management) teams, engineering, UX, and marketing
Drive smooth handoffs between catalog engineering and downstream systems like search, pricing, and inventory
Act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders
Define and prioritize catalog-related features (e.g., bulk upload, enrichment tools, API integrations)
Manage backlog and ensure timely delivery of enhancements
Monitor KPIs such as indexing speed, search conversion, and error rates
Qualification
Required
7+ years in product management or related roles, ideally in e-commerce, retail tech, or catalog management
Hands-on experience with Product Information Management (PIM) systems, omnichannel architecture, and catalog governance
Proven track record in Agile/Scrum methodologies and managing cross-functional teams
Familiarity with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with headless commerce frameworks and catalog microservices
