SCS Engineers is looking for a summer 2026 intern for their Denver, CO office, offering hands-on experience in technical engineering and business operations. The intern will assist project teams with tasks related to landfill construction, storm water management, and sustainability projects.

Responsibilities

Construction observation and documentation
On-site sample collection of various compounds
Laboratory data management and review
Field Sampling for Odors
Operations and Maintenance of Ambient Air Analyzers
Reporting and calculation preparation
CAD drafting
Being an Odor Panelist
GIS mapping

Qualification

Required

Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or science and graduating by June 2028 required
Must be willing to live in the Denver area for Summer 2026 (housing allowance will not be provided)
Solid technical and computer skills (Excel and Word experience required, GIS preferred but not necessary)
Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing required
Ability to travel overnight for work outside of an office setting may be required
Preference for candidates who demonstrate a desire to pursue a career in consulting and professional licensure upon graduation
At this time, we only consider candidates who are authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employer sponsorship for our internship program
