Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic business plans specific to the needs of individual middle market accounts to increase membership and identify new and ancillary product sales opportunities
Cultivate and manage strong business relationships with prospects, their executives, brokers, and consultants
Maintain current working knowledge of VSP's new and existing products and services
Act as liaison between various VSP departments and customers to ensure service levels and expectations are met. Collaborate with marketing and product development to address customer's needs and analyze market data
Utilize sales automation system to make inquiries, maintain records, and prepare reports
Qualification
Required
At least three years of business-to-business sales or account management experience
Results-driven achiever with exemplary planning and organizational skills, along with a high degree of detail orientation
Highly adaptable, positive, resilient, patient risk-taker who is open to new ideas
Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues
Innovative problem-solver who can generate workable solutions and resolve problems
