County Court at Law 2-Assistant Court Administrator
NEOGOV is seeking an Assistant Court Administrator for the Williamson County Court at Law. The role involves performing specialized administrative and court-related duties to support the court offices, including docket management, scheduling, and communication coordination.

Responsibilities
Collaborates with Senior Court Administrator and performs docket management as assigned per court (i.e., family, civil, criminal, etc.)
Schedules, monitors, and maintains court calendars and emails
Coordinates communication between the court, attorneys, external courts, and the public
Serves as primary resource for all administrative needs
Assists with attorney assignments, fee vouchers, and public inquiries
Assists with court filings, including coordinating case audits
Performs budget tracking to assist with the annual budget process
Coordinates and tracks various financial documents
Provides customer service to customers and staff via telephone, email, or in person
Performs data entry and maintains contact information for defendants, attorneys, and other legal parties
Performs purchasing coordination for the department, to include reconciliation/oversight of p-card use, generating purchase requisitions, processing invoices, communicating with County A/P and Purchasing departments, and preparing end-of-fiscal year reporting
Maintains all electronic and physical documents for assigned courts, including coordinating various filing systems
Assists with processing attorney invoices, legal fees, and various budget and financial reports
Reviews, collects, transcribes, and processes legal paperwork and prepares documents for electronic use
Reviews court orders submitted by attorneys and litigants and forwards to the Judge for approval and signature
Disseminates court policies and procedures to attorneys and litigants
Reports monthly, quarterly, and yearly statistical and legal data using software utilized by the State of Texas
Collaborates with attorneys on processing various legal documents, including performing quality control to ensure documents are accurate
Performs daily financial transactions such as collecting payments, balancing cash draws, and prepares financial reports for internal and external entities
Receives cross-training and performs duties associated with Senior Court Administrator (includes going into court and performing court duties) as required
Attends all meetings and trainings, as required
Performs special duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associate degree in Business, Government, Public Administration, or related field and two (2) years of court or legal experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Odyssey
Valid Texas Driver's license (required within thirty (30) days of employment)
Texas Notary Public (required within three (3) months of employment)
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Two (2) years of complex court system experience
Four (4) years of experience in a legal role
Bilingual (Spanish)
