Responsibilities
Directly supervise and support the shipping and receiving team, ensuring expectations are clear and consistently met
Oversee all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accurate, timely, and secure handling of merchandise
Maintain accurate inventory tracking systems, promptly addressing discrepancies, shortages, or overages
Ensure proper documentation, labeling, and compliance with company and regulatory requirements
Enforce safety standards and safe use of material handling equipment, setting a strong example for the team
Conduct audits and quality checks to maintain operational accuracy and efficiency
Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training team members, emphasizing reliability, teamwork, and respect
Develop and maintain work schedules based on operational needs and staffing levels
Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and corrective guidance to support performance improvement
Maintain a clean, organized, and secure receiving and storage area
Support loss prevention efforts by following and enforcing security protocols
Coordinate professionally with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to streamline processes
Assist donors according to company standards with courtesy and professionalism
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies
Support store leadership with sales and marketing initiatives when needed
Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Store Manager or General Manager
Qualification
Required
Minimum of two years' experience as a supervisor, team lead, or key holder in shipping, receiving, logistics, or warehouse operations
Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and respect in leadership and attendance
Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
Basic math and computer proficiency
Ability to safely operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts preferred)
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Ability to assess performance, provide constructive feedback, and coach team members effectively
Successful completion of background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screen
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Preferred
High school diploma or GED preferred
