Responsibilities

Co-own P&L for all U.S. craft brewpubs, taprooms, and other owned retail locations jointly with the Director of Owned Retail – Operations

Build and execute a multi-year plan to boost traffic, elevate guest experiences, and optimize the retail footprint for craft brand growth

Partner with hospitality directors to identify and act on opportunities for brand perception, profitability, and portfolio expansion

Present business cases for openings, renewals, and closures aligned with company goals

Allocate resources strategically to maximize ROI on CapEx investments

Champion a hospitality-centered culture focused on exceptional consumer connections

Define clear values and behavioral expectations to uphold high service standards

Develop training and hiring tools to build proactive, high-performing hospitality teams

Serve as strategic finance lead for the owned retail business unit, overseeing all Project & Performance Management (PPM) functions

Benchmark performance against industry standards to fuel continuous improvement

Partner with FP&A to set budgets, site-level targets, and manage monthly/annual performance cycles

Optimize leadership structures to strengthen execution and accountability

Work closely with marketing, FP&A, supply, people, procurement, and legal teams

Align owned retail strategies with craft brewery leadership nationwide

Support development of High End (craft and import) branded retail locations, including concessionaire-led spaces such as airports

Required

Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects

Strong financial acumen in budgeting, forecasting, and performance management

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

Willingness to travel extensively and work alongside operators to drive results (up to 30%)

Preferred

Multi-unit retail or hospitality leadership experience preferred, ideally in craft beer or food & beverage
