Responsibilities

Managing your own caseload from start to finish-drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, all while keeping a keen eye on details and deadlines

Preparing for and attending depositions, hearings, and trials, providing you with valuable courtroom experience

Collaborating closely with clients, experts, and fellow attorneys to develop effective litigation strategies

Regular communication with clients, providing them with status updates and interim written reports on the progress of their cases

Conducting thorough legal research, preparing memoranda to support case strategy, and working alongside partners and senior attorneys to ensure seamless case management

Assisting in trials and hearings, requiring strong advocacy skills

Taking and defending fact witness and expert depositions

Qualification

Required

A Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to the New York State Bar are essential prerequisites
