NSK is a global manufacturer of ball and roller bearings and automotive components. They are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern for the summer of 2026 to gain on-the-job experience and work on engineering projects under the guidance of higher-level engineers.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering services for less complex technical problems and recommend a course of action

Provide engineering services for more complex problems under direct guidance of higher-level Engineer

Take an active part in the execution of product development projects

Assist Engineers on technical service initiatives with sampling, analysis, and recommendations

Develop and integrate product and process documentation ensuring consistency and accuracy

Provide project status, as required

Required

Students pursuing a B.S. degree in Engineering; ideally Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical

Completed at least Freshman year of undergraduate course work and enrolled in Engineering major from an accredited school

Skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel PowerPoint, Outlook)

Have strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Effectively communicate with different levels of associates and cultures

Available to work full-time for 12 weeks (May through August)

Preferred

GPA of at least 3.0 at an accredited college or university

Demonstrated leadership skills

Basic understanding of production processes

Strategic and creative thinking
