Responsibilities
Inspect overhead industrial cranes and hoists to verify safety and compliance with Manufacturing, OSHA, and ANSI standards
Troubleshoot and repair overhead material handling equipment
Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment (strong knowledge of motor controls)
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment
Support customers by effectively interfacing with customers and the office in repairing equipment as needed
Evaluate and make recommendations regarding required repairs
Provide a high level of communication with both Customers and the Office
Qualification
Required
Diagnosing and fixing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
Conducting preventive maintenance
Ensuring safety compliance
Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical components and circuits
Inspecting overhead industrial cranes and hoists to verify safety and compliance with Manufacturing, OSHA, and ANSI standards
Troubleshooting and repairing overhead material handling equipment
Troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment (strong knowledge of motor controls)
Performing scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment
Supporting customers by effectively interfacing with customers and the office in repairing equipment as needed
Evaluating and making recommendations regarding required repairs
Providing a high level of communication with both Customers and the Office
Strong knowledge of AC/DC theory
Ability to troubleshoot 480VAC 3-phase motor control systems and strong mechanical aptitude
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment and/or equivalent military experience
Must have a valid driver's license
Demonstrate a proven commitment to safety, and be comfortable working at heights
Preferred
Familiar with electrical troubleshooting, drives, gearboxes, and field welding if possible (tack)
Experience troubleshooting motors and drives
Ability to rig and hang steel
Ability to read blueprints
OSHA 10/30 certified
