Senior Electrical Engineer (CnP)

Responsibilities
Design full low and medium voltage electrical systems, including power, lighting, fire alarm and signaling systems
Design lighting systems including associated control systems
Prepare load analysis for each stage of design
Direct a design team in preparation of detailed project electrical systems drawings
Prepare basis of design report for the project
Prepare and document project energy compliance to applicable energy codes
Select and prepare specifications for electrical equipment
Coordinate work with engineers of other disciplines (mechanical, life safety, etc.) and with project architects
Maintain confidentiality with clients and projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
Professional Engineer license (PE)
12+ years of Electrical Engineering experience, including the following
Experience working for a MEP firm required focusing on Mission Critical applications, experience designing medium-voltage distribution systems and emergency generation
Proficient in Revit, 3D CADD, SKM and/or eTap Power Tools, Bentley BIM
Knowledge of NFPA Codes and Standards, i.e.; 70,70E,130,502,101,110, etc
Working knowledge of other building systems (e.g. door finish hardware, IT building communications, lighting controls and BAS networks) as these relate electrical systems
