The IT Technician Internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to a wide range of IT systems while supporting operations and contributing to the team. Interns will provide technical support, manage IT support tickets, and assist with employee onboarding.

Responsibilities
Provide technical support via phone, email, and ticketing system for hardware, software, and network issues
Monitor, prioritize, and resolve IT support tickets while maintaining accurate documentation
Configure and deploy computer equipment for employees and manage hardware inventory
Assist users with software applications, system access, and basic training
Support employee onboarding from an IT perspective
Participate in projects that enhance the quality and efficiency of IT support and perform ad hoc duties as required
Ability to follow through on end user inquiries and requests, keeping them up to date about the progress of the service being provided, and monitoring their satisfaction
Provide on-site technical support to all employees requiring hands-on technical support or assistance
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in IT, MIS, Computer Science, Network Administration, or a related field
A GPA of 3.0 or higher
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Office applications
Understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Experience with Active Directory and remote support tools
Hardware troubleshooting and installation experience
Basic mobile device knowledge
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred
Interest in Data & Analytics is a bonus
Familiarity with Windows 11 and Microsoft Office Suite
