Responsibilities
Designing and building telemetry pipelines across logs, traces, and deploys
Developing automatic instrumentation that tracks code behavior and preserves async context
Creating code-origin mapping to link runtime events back to exact source code
Building secure sandboxes for AI agents to inspect systems and validate hypotheses safely
Designing multi-agent reasoning systems that leverage real production telemetry for accurate root-cause analysis
Improving developer tooling, SDKs, and internal observability infrastructure
Qualification
Required
5+ years of full-stack engineering experience (soft cap at 7 years)
Experience working directly with users and shipping real production systems
Strong systems thinking and curiosity about how software behaves in production
High ownership mindset and belief in Foam's product vision
Comfortable working in a fast-moving, early-stage startup environment
