Responsibilities

Source venture debt opportunities by leveraging your network of founders, investors, and advisors. Build and manage a pipeline of high-quality prospects
Structure, negotiate, and close venture debt solutions aligned with client growth strategies and ATEL's underwriting approach
Serve as a trusted partner to founders executives, and venture capital firms. Cultivate long-term relationships within the venture ecosystem
Carry out ATEL's venture debt strategy by consistently sourcing and executing transactions that align with portfolio goals

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
3 - 5+ years of origination experience in venture debt or closely related financial services
Proven success structuring venture debt and working capital financings
Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to clearly explain complex financial structures
Strong sales and relationship-building capabilities with a client-first mindset
Skilled in analyzing financial statements, business plans, and projections
Deep understanding of the venture capital ecosystem and non-dilutive financing strategies
Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and organized
Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Salesforce CRM experience a plus
