Software Implementation Specialist

Plumb Bill Pay is seeking a Software Implementation Specialist to help ensure the successful adoption and utilization of their newly released software features. The role involves coordinating post-release activities, organizing training, and providing leadership with insights on feature adoption and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the post-release lifecycle of new product features across internal teams and clients
Organize training schedules, audiences, materials, and follow-through
Provide leadership with clear recommendations on readiness, cutovers, and rollbacks
Stand up practical interim workflows when automation is still maturing
Continuously simplify operations as automation expands
Define what “good adoption” looks like for each new capability
Monitor usage and real-world outcomes across clients and internal teams
Deliver concise, decision-ready progress updates to the President and Executive Management Team
Partner with Product/Development to ensure we’re measuring the right indicators
Act as the connective tissue between Engineering, Operations, and Client Teams
Translate feedback into focused action items and keep moving parts aligned
Bring clarity, calm, and accountability to complex change initiatives
Prioritize clients, coordinate onboarding, map Chart of Accounts, and maintain mappings as automation scales
Guide account connections, maintain supported-institution visibility, and fold steps into onboarding
Manage structured rollout, training, sequencing, and migration from manual tasks to automated processes

Required

Strong accounting and reporting experience
A genuine passion for process clarity, adoption, and operational excellence
Strong judgment on priorities and trade-offs—you make complex things manageable
Bachelor's Degree required
2+ years of accounting or operations experience
Ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-moving environment
Proactive, solution-oriented, and motivated by helping teams succeed

Preferred

family office or UHNW bill pay experience
comfortable partnering with product and engineering; software-savvy mindset
on-site in La Jolla preferred (remote considered)
