New Grad, Entry LevelAristeo is a construction company looking for an Entry-Level Jr. Detailer to join their team. The role involves preparing and reviewing drawings, learning industry standards, and supporting steel fabrication projects under the guidance of the Steel Fabrication Manager.

Responsibilities
Assist with preparing and updating shop drawings based on contract documents
Learn to read and interpret construction drawings for structural and miscellaneous steel
Help check drawings for accuracy and completeness before they are sent for approval or fabrication
Enter and maintain drawing updates in our project files
Support coordination between detailing, fabrication, and field teams
Participate in training to learn company and industry detailing standards
Perform basic measuring and data collection tasks during site visits (with supervision)
Carry out other entry-level duties as assigned to support the Project Manager and subcontractors
Qualification
Required
Basic understanding of drafting principles; construction knowledge is a plus, but not required
Strong attention to detail, a positive 'can-do' attitude, and an eagerness to learn
Good communication and teamwork skills
2-4 year college degree required
No prior steel detailing experience required — we will train the right candidate
Preferred
Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, SDS/2, or Tekla) is a plus, but not required — training provided
Coursework in drafting, engineering, or related field preferred, but not required
