Responsibilities
Supervise and support the HR team across various functions
Oversee the full HR process, including but not limited to: Recruitment & Hiring, Onboarding, Employee Relations, Performance Reviews, HR Compliance & Documentation, Personnel File Management, Offboarding
Ensure adherence to California state regulations and internal policies
Provide guidance to employees and leaders on HR matters
Prepare HR reports and maintain accurate records
Partner with leadership to support organizational needs and culture initiatives
Support payroll coordination and timekeeping verification
Oversee credentialing, background checks, and required certifications
Assist in investigations, corrective actions, and conflict resolution
Promote a professional, respectful, and inclusive work environment
Qualification
Required
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
3–5+ years of Human Resources experience; supervisory experience strongly preferred
Strong Familiarity with California labor laws
Experience in healthcare, education, or behavioral services
Proficiency in HRIS systems (Paycom)
