Responsibilities
Own and sustain the Wet Etch and Cleans process area or a part thereof along with other department engineers and technicians as part of a 24•7 High Volume Silicon Carbide Wafer Fab. Respond to any process deviations in a timely and systematic manner. Document findings and present them succinctly to a wide-ranging audience
Perform process and capability studies to ensure that key parameters are identified, monitored, and controlled
Own efforts to make the process Best in Class for performance and yield. Suggest and drive potential process/chemistries and equipment changes/upgrades to improve process performance
Ensure work instructions and Out of Control Action Plans are up to date and area personnel are trained and certified to safely operate the tools
This role involves working one weekend day
Qualification
Required
BS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Equivalent
5-10 years hands-on experience with semiconductor wet process engineering/development
High attention to detail and initiative with ability to thrive in a fast paced high volume semiconductor environment
