South Shore Community Action Council, Inc. is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead their organization with a $30 million annual budget and over 200 employees. The role demands strategic thinking and strong management skills to oversee operations, develop fundraising strategies, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Report to and work closely with an engaged governing Board of Directors

Lead a senior management team of Directors and a staff across seven locations

Direct and oversee the day-to-day operations of the corporation in accordance with program standards

Maintain compliance with applicable state & federal laws and regulations

Develop short and long-term objectives for the agency

Oversee development strategies for fundraising to maintain existing financial support partners and generate new funding streams

Required

Minimum BA/BS in non-profit management, business management, or related field

10+ years of related supervisory/executive experience

Experience in the daily operations of a multi service agency, preferably a 501(c)3 nonprofit

Successful history of community involvement including engagement with a wide variety of public & private stakeholders

Experience in maintaining program compliance with state & federal laws and regulations, and funding source restrictions

Candidates Must Undergo a background check that includes a CORI/SORI/BRC fingerprint, according to regulatory standards
