They are seeking an experienced Test Technician to ensure the quality of products and equipment, performing inspections, conducting tests, and analyzing data to meet specifications.

Responsibilities

Inspect components and verify conformance to engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications
Set up and execute acceptance tests in accordance with approved procedures, ensuring safe methods and properly calibrated equipment
Record and analyze test data to assess product performance, identify out-of-family conditions, and recommend process improvements
Read and interpret technical documentation, including drawings, tool manuals, safety rules, and procedure manuals
Maintain required test equipment calibrations and ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards
Use Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to collect, organize, and present test data
Exercise good judgment in prioritizing assigned tasks according to the daily schedule, with support from senior engineering when required
Collaborate effectively with engineers and other departments and serve as an inspector when required
Maintain confidentiality of business information and perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisor

Required

High school diploma or GED; 2+ years of relevant experience preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency in common hand and power tools
Computer literacy, with experience using test and measurement equipment a plus
Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and hoists (or willingness to be certified)
Basic understanding of engineering and physics principles
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with high attention to detail
Effective verbal and written communication skills; able to clearly define and convey issues
Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when required
Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or otherwise legally recognized as a U.S. Person)
To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
