Human Resources Generalist - Benefits (Remote)

They are seeking a Human Resources Generalist – Benefits to administer employee benefits programs, manage benefit eligibility, and ensure compliance with employment and benefits regulations.

Responsibilities
Administer employee benefits programs, including health plans, retirement, and state-mandated leaves
Manage benefit eligibility, enrollments, life events, and terminations
Coordinate annual open enrollment and ensure accurate employee communications
Track and administer paid and unpaid leaves of absence (PTO, FMLA, disability, paid family leave, military leave)
Partner with payroll on 401(k) updates and benefit deductions
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits regulations
Support onboarding and respond to employee and applicant benefits inquiries
Maintain accurate HRIS records and contribute to HR process improvements
Qualification
Required
3+ years of HR Generalist experience, with strong benefits administration exposure
Knowledge of wage and hour laws and benefits compliance
Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
Preferred
Experience using HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now preferred)
