Coordinate with project engineers, designers and client representatives
Lead a large portion or the entirety of a substation design project
Qualification
Required
6+ years utility substation P&C or Physical design experience (15kV through to 500kV)
Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without need for sponsorship
Strong communication skills to coordinate with project engineers, designers and client representatives
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel & Word
Preferred
7-15 years P&C or Physical substation design experience
AutoCAD, MicroStation or Inventor design experience
Proficiency with SEL or GE relays
Detailed design of new substation layouts using electrical schematics, bill of materials and equipment specifications
Substation lightning stroke shielding plan and grounding plan experience
Knowledge relay protection & control engineering
Ability to lead a large portion or the entirety of a substation design project
