The role involves performing paint and surface prep operations for painting, including prepping, priming, and curing parts after application.

Responsibilities

Responsible for prepping, priming of detail parts to current spec requirements along with the capability of Top-coat Application

Follow standard operating procedures and specifications

Wash, wipe and sand parts when necessary

Mask and prep parts for paint as required

Cure parts after topcoat application

Operate Chart recorders

Required

Typically requires a HS diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 3 years of relevant experience is required

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position

Preferred

Basic computer skills

Able to operate a curing oven and chart recorders

Ability to interpret blueprints
